Job Responsibilities/Duties: • Technical and stakeholder facing responsibilities. • Design cloud solutions following the well-architected framework guidelines. • Thought leader on usage and implementation of cost-effective cloud solutions. • Work closely with client stakeholders (chief architects, technology SMEs, etc.) to gather requirements for cloud migrations, cloud-native greenfield solutions, etc. • Review solution architectures with internal cloud architects and external stakeholders. • Develop proof-of-concepts, wherever necessary, and validate the solutions with client stakeholders. • Conduct assessments on existing environments and provide recommendations for choosing and implementing the right cloud strategy. • Work with client stakeholders to create migration, modernization, and digital transformation roadmaps. • Implement cloud solutions that are highly secure, resilient, fault-tolerant, and compliant. • Provide Hands-on support, wherever necessary, to advance cloud native solutions, DevSecOps, IaC, and SRE automation. • Gather enablement requirements from the clients, refining user stories and tasks. • Provide technical guidance and assistance to team members. • Conduct code reviews and technical design sessions. • Work collaboratively with other team members in designing and problem solving. • Participate in agile ceremonies. • Supports delivery of advisory services, strategic planning activities and business case development within the assigned portfolio areas and infrastructure disciplines (e.g., application/storage platforms, databases, networks, security and IT processes / operations / governance). • Analyzes and evaluates client requirements against portfolio offerings and performs build vs. buy analyses. • May refine and optimize cloud infrastructure reference models and creates architectural prototypes as required. • Is responsible for the solution integrity within the assigned solution area for the engagement. • Maintains knowledge of technologies, industry trends, standards and design techniques. • Works with client stakeholders to evaluate the solution requirements and supports the management and traceability of requirements during the engagement. • Interfaces to the client's IT organization on solution implementation progress, technical issues, proper practices and technical requirements. • Participates in design peer reviews and internal project reviews. • Works with client technical staff during the requirements definition and implementation to resolve issues. • May include hands-on modeling, design, configuration, installation, performance tuning, prototyping and/or other efforts required to keep the project on a successful track. • Provides input on implementation status and changes to risks, estimates or schedule. • Collaborates with architect peers to efficiently resolve technical issues, improve implementation quality and share high quality information. Job Qualifications: • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience and 8+ years of relevant IT implementation experience. • 5+ years of hands-on experience developing and managing cloud-native solutions, preferably in AWS or Azure. • Hands-on experiences with core cloud services (storage, networking, firewalls, DNS, databases, applications, data analytics, compute, container services) across any cloud provider, preferably AWS or Azure. • Hands-on experience in any or all programming and scripting technologies such as Java, Python, Groovy, Shell, Go. • Hands-on experience in designing and developing IaC automation using terraform, cloud formation templates, or ARM templates. • Hands-on experience designing and developing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins Pipelines or other CI tools. • Hands-on experience in developing utility scripts and tools using python or shell. • Hands-on experience in using DevOps tool sets such as Git, Artifactory, Jenkins, Sonar, Fortify, Spinnaker, etc. • Experience in building and deploying images. • Knowledge of implementing Disaster Recovery solutions on-premises or cloud. • Experience working with agile tools such as Jira, Bitbucket, Confluence. • Experience working on Agile methodologies, working with scrum teams and have a knowledge of all the scrum ceremonies. • Experience developing unit tests for pipelines. • Certified Solution Architect in AWS or Azure preferred. • Sufficient exposure to clients across a variety of technologies, industries, and domains. • Experience in at least one of the following specific technology areas: Server Operating Systems, Database / Information Management, Networks, Security, Desktop Technology, Virtualization (Server, Desktop, and Application), Infrastructure and Device Monitoring, Mobility Solutions and Application Platforms / Application Integration. • Strong communications skills with the ability to interface with all levels of internal and client project teams. • Familiarity with applicable industry standards and frameworks such as ITIL, CoBIT, ISO, TOGAF and FEAF. • Understands Cloud, datacenter operations and infrastructure implementation methodologies. • Potential for 2-3 days onsite.
