As a Solutions Consultant, you will serve as a member of the Mitsubishi Electric Iconics Digital Solutions sales team, supporting the sales process, identifying customer requirements, demonstrating software solutions, and addressing technical inquiries. You will leverage your understanding of Mitsubishi Electric Iconics Digital Solutions software offerings, complimentary technologies, and industry best practices to articulate the value proposition of our solutions to prospective customers. Your primary objectives will be (1) to support the sales team in achieving revenue targets, (2) assist with developing and supporting Systems integrator partnerships, and (3) assist in developing and supporting Mitsubishi Electric Factory Automation sales and channel partners. Responsibilities: • Collaborate with Mitsubishi Electric Iconics Digital Solutions sales resources to enable team sales efforts and support customer facing activities to discover, qualify, and advance opportunities to closure. Primary activities include but are not limited to: • Technical discovery • Sales presentations • CRM updates • RFI/RFP response support • Demonstrations • Proof-of-Concept/Proof-of-Value execution • Solution design • Bill-of-Material and proposal creation • Facilitate voice-of-customer feedback • Engage new and existing systems integrator partners to build and maintain commercial and technical competency on Mitsubishi Electric Iconics Digital Solutions offerings. • Sales support for partner-led opportunities • Technical consulting • Partner enablement • Partner-led project execution support • Facilitate voice-of-partner feedback • Support competency and channel development efforts with the Mitsubishi Electric Factory Automation organizational (ie. MEAU). • Participate in working sessions to identify repeatable use cases for Mitsubishi Electric Iconics Digital Solutions software, develop technical examples, and support go-to-market (packaging, promotion, enablement, etc.). • Support a regular cadence of interaction with Mitsubishi Electric Factory Automation sales (and channel partners) to provide continuous enablement and updates on Mitsubishi Electric Iconics Digital Solutions software solutions (sales strategies, roadmap, review wins/losses). Travel Requirements: • 15% travel Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, Engineering, Technology or equivalent experience; advanced degree preferred. • Minimum 3 years, experience in a presales or technical consulting role within the software industry focused on manufacturing, with a strong understanding of operational technologies and architectures. • Analytical skills and ability to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements and solutions. • Hands-on experience with software development, system integration, and cloud technologies. • Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders • Team oriented, collaborative, “can do” attitude with the ability to operate independently, and work in situations of ambiguity About our company Founded in 1986, MEIDS is a company of innovators creating breakthrough software and striving for excellence in software engineering, product design and customer support.
