NET Xperts LLC is seeking a Senior Cloud Support Engineer. This position is based in the Pittsburgh area, and you must reside within our region. Support is typically done remotely with the occasional visit to client sites. All work is dispatched from our Forest Hills office with access to a company vehicle. Please note this is not a software engineer or developer position. Our clients rely on us to manage their entire infrastructure, everything from endpoint troubleshooting, server, switch, and firewall configuration to cloud infrastructure. Many of our clients are migrating their workload to the cloud. By joining us, you will be part of a team that ensures our clients' technology meets the needs of their business. What will you do? • Carry out deployment, maintenance, monitoring, and management tasks within the implemented cloud structure. • Act as a resource to IT staff by providing leadership and facilitating the definition of project deliverables around core Cloud-based technology and methods. • Research, identify, and develop solution pathways to business challenges and standards for implementation of those from a cloud services and security implementation perspective. • Use AI tools (Microsoft Copilot, Power Automate, or other generative AI applications) to streamline processes and drive innovation. • Handle project delivery efficiently both independently and as a team leader. • Serve as an expert in the field, as a technical consultant. • You will be required to participate in our on-call rotation. Education And Experience: • An Associate’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience is required. • A minimum of 8 years of hands-on technical experience servicing the corporate community post-graduation, in the specific area of Cloud services. • Must have certification(s) from Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), and/or Google Cloud Platform. • We value certifications! Our partners include Microsoft, Watchguard, Datto, Cisco, Symantec, VMware, and HP/Aruba. You must be able to earn new certifications as part of the job requirement. • PowerShell experience is highly regarded. Experience with the following is required: • Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive • Administering Office 365 • Office 365 Integration with Microsoft Active Directory • Email migrations from Exchange, GSuite, and other platforms to Exchange Online • On-prem file share to SharePoint migrations • Microsoft InTune • Scripting and workload automation You must have 5-8+ years of experience in Cloud computing technologies, virtualization, software deployment, Cloud development, and Microsoft services. Proven “hands-on” experience managing and modifying Cloud resources. Experience directly supporting Windows servers both in an on-premises environment and in predominantly Azure cloud, which is highly desirable. Assists in operational duties relating to Active Directory and Office 365 infrastructure, including administration of users, groups, and DNS. You must be able to discuss your role in on-premises to Cloud migrations during the interview process. You must be self-directed and require minimal supervision. Miscellaneous: • Work week, Monday–Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm (Overtime/weekends as needed). • Must be able to pass a series of background checks. • Must have a current and valid driver’s license with proof of insurance. As an ongoing condition of employment, you must maintain a valid and current driver's license. • Although this is considered a hybrid position, out-of-state candidates are not encouraged to apply as there is a weekly in-office requirement. This program allows you to work from home up to 2 days per week.
