Tyler Technologies is currently seeking a senior software engineer to join our team that works on a comprehensive suite of Resident Engagement solutions built and deployed exclusively for government. Individual contributor that is responsible for participating in development, maintenance and enhancement of business applications. Participate in project teams within as assigned business unit or corporate department and utilize various technology platforms. Collaborate with business partners, and other technical staff to identify user requirements, assess available technologies, and recommend solution options. This is a hybrid role which requires 2 working days onsite in our office. Responsibilities • Build out applications and infrastructure for the Tyler suite of products • Full Stack web application development using Microsoft ASP.NET and C#, Angular Typescript, HTML 5, CSS for UI • Work in a collaborative fashion with product teams to bring tangible results to market • Aid Technical Support and other departments for deployment and run-time issues as needed • Contribute to the vision, concept, planning, architecture, design, usability, API, and documentation of Tyler products • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the internal processes • Assist with designing and implementing frameworks, micro-services, and general components for use by front-line Tyler products • Design and Implement design specifications, products and features for Enterprise Software • Facilitate code reviews • Training Entry Level Software Developers • Implement and maintain SQL databases and data modeling principles • Develop and maintain knowledge of multiple applications, functional areas, technical skills and programming languages. • Develop software systems with unit testing, validation procedures, and documentation. • Utilize knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming, including design and best practices for development, testing and production of Enterprise products and services. • Work in Agile Methodology and understand project management. Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in computer science or math, or comparable work experience. • 5+ years of software design and development experience with conventional technologies • Experience with, or aptitude for .NET C# coding • Experience with working with the .NET/Core/framework highly desirable • Experience with REST API patterns and designs desirable • Demonstrated expertise with SQL databases and data modeling principles. • Excellent analytical abilities, communication, and interpersonal skills.
