The consultant will work in an Agile environment and collaborate with Supervisors, Project Managers, Business Analysts, QA teams, and Developers. Responsibilities include architecture, design, coding, testing, deployment, mentoring junior developers, and providing technical support. This role requires strong experience in C#, ASP.NET Core MVC, Web API, SQL Server, Entity Framework, and modern .NET development practices. Key Responsibilities • Participate in architecture, design, coding, testing, deployment, and documentation • Rewrite legacy applications into modern .NET solutions • Build applications using C#, ASP.NET Core MVC, Web API, SQL Server • Develop secure and scalable solutions using N-Tier architecture • Work with Agile teams and contribute to sprint planning & reviews • Create and present demos, documentation, and technical support materials • Mentor junior developers and collaborate across business and IT teams Required Technical Skills • 10+ years of experience with ASP.NET and C# • 10+ years of experience developing ASP.NET Core MVC applications • 10+ years with SQL Server (DB design, stored procedures, functions, query optimization) • 10+ years working with N-Tier architecture for development and deployment • 10+ years with Entity Framework (EF) 4.0 or later • 10+ years with SOA, developing and securing WCF services • 10+ years with Azure DevOps/TFS (repos, code promotion, CI/CD, boards) • 10+ years with Visual Studio (2015 or later) • 5+ years of Agile project development experience • 5+ years building mobile-friendly applications • 5+ years developing SSRS reports integrated into MVC apps • 5+ years implementing AJAX in ASP.NET applications • 5+ years developing RESTful APIs using .NET Core / .NET 5/6/8 • 2+ years Test Driven Development (TDD) experience • 2+ years Microservices experience Soft Skills Required • Strong communication, leadership, and mentoring skills • Ability to collaborate and influence across business & IT teams • Strong analytical, problem-solving, planning, and organizational skills • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously • Customer-focused mindset (Public Safety environment)
