Join Our Team as a Cloud Application Developer! We are looking for a talented Cloud Application Developer to support our modernization efforts by creating and maintaining secure, scalable applications in Azure. This role focuses on enhancing functionality for our customer-facing web portal and its platform, which supports services like document scanning, printing, mailing, and data extraction. Collaborate with our Senior Cloud Developer to build components, ensure secure network configurations, and automate infrastructure. Your technical decisions will play a key role in the scalability, performance, and security of our enterprise solutions, driving our mission of delivering reliable, high-quality services. Salary Range: $90,000 - $115,000. The compensation may vary based on your background and experience. Work Location: We welcome remote work from multiple approved states, including Arizona, Florida, Illinois, New Jersey, and more. Occasionally, you may need to travel to our Madison, Wisconsin office for team collaboration. What Makes This Opportunity Right for You: • You will act as a key liaison between business stakeholders and our development team. • You’ll collaborate with architecture, security, and operations teams to ensure alignment with the organization’s strategic goals. • Your work will involve designing, developing, and maintaining application code for Azure solutions that enhance our web portal and related services. • You will utilize Azure DevOps and tools like ARM and Terraform, managing the secure integration and deployment of services. • Lead unit testing efforts to ensure code stability while collaborating with the testing team during integration cycles. • Analyze and optimize application performance, ensuring best practices for monitoring and scaling within our Azure ecosystem. • Support document workflows through Microsoft SQL Server integrations and contribute to documentation of system functionalities and standards. Minimum Qualifications: • U.S. citizenship is essential due to Department of Defense restrictions. • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience. • At least 2 years of experience in .NET (core development) and C#. • Experience with developing and maintaining cloud applications in Microsoft Azure, ideally Azure Government. • Hands-on experience with Azure ecosystem tools such as Docker, Azure Functions, and App Service. • Proficiency in using Terraform for infrastructure-as-code and security configurations. • Exposure to ReactJS and SQL Server on Azure, particularly in database design and optimization. Preferred Qualifications: • Understanding of enterprise document workflows, particularly in regulated sectors. • Experience building data processing pipelines in Azure. • A proactive, entrepreneurial mindset and adaptability to change. • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and CI/CD practices in a DevOps setting. • A genuine interest in pursuing Azure certifications. Remote Work Requirements: • Reliable high-speed internet connection is a must. • Please ensure minimum speeds of 10 Mbps downstream and 1 Mbps upstream.
