NO SPONSORSHIP - NO OPT Lead Associate Principal, Network Engineering SALARY: $150k - $160k flex plus 15% bonus LOCATION: CHICAGO, IL HYBRID 3 days onsite All about automation, python, and checkpoint firewalls is important and then the normal routing/switching Heavy ACI is a must SDN is a must Responsibilities: Oversee the full lifecycle of network infrastructure, including the design, deployment, support, and documentation of routing, switching, firewalls and cloud-base solutions. Qualifications: Excellent presentation skills including planning, material preparation and public speaking Experience directing use of tools such as Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins, Python, and Github (or industry equivalent) Experience delivering Infrastructure as code Experience building cloud infrastructure in environments such as AWS (Preferred), Azure, or Google Cloud, or similar service Knowledge of layer 3 routing and switching Experience with IOS, NX-OS, and XR Advanced experience with architecting, designing, deploying, and operating network elements such as DNS/IPAM; Checkpoint Firewalls Advanced WAN, LAN, TCP/IP, VPN, Ethernet Skills Extensive EIGRP, BGP4, RIP and OSPF Routing Protocol knowledge Experience with SDN deployments Cisco ACI Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a technical discipline (Computer Science, Mathematics, etc.) or equivalent combination of education and experience. 5+ years of experience in IT systems installation, operations, administration, and maintenance of virtualized servers / cloud systems AWS certifications such as DevOps Engineer, Solutions Architect, Advanced Networking, or Security or equivalent field experience [Preferred] Cisco Certified Internetwork Engineer (CCIE) Certification
