Job Title: Systems Administrator (Entry Level) Company: Xentity Corporation Job Type: Full-Time Labor Category: Tech Location: Remote Role Summary Xentity is exploring potential candidates for an upcoming Systems Administrator (Entry Level) role, expected to open in the next 60 to 90 days. In this role, you will be essential to maintaining and managing our cloud-based infrastructure. The Systems Administrator will monitor system performance, deploy cloud resources, and ensure the security and stability of our IT environment. This position offers a growth-oriented environment for individuals looking to expand their cloud management skills, gain experience in troubleshooting, and contribute to the scalability of our systems. Position Scope • System Monitoring and Maintenance: • Oversee and maintain cloud environments to ensure high availability, performance, and security. • Perform routine maintenance, including applying patches and updates to cloud systems. • Cloud Configuration and Deployment: • Assist in configuring and deploying cloud resources such as virtual machines, storage, and networking components. • Implement security measures to protect cloud infrastructure against threats. • User Support and Access Management: • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls within the cloud environment. • Provide technical support to end-users and troubleshoot both hardware and software issues. • Documentation and Collaboration: • Document system configurations, changes, and incident resolutions. • Work closely with IT and development teams to support cloud-based projects and initiatives. Experience • Entry-Level Experience: 0-2 years in IT systems administration or a related field. • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience. • Cloud Familiarity: Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and foundational knowledge of networking, operating systems, and security best practices. Required Skills • Technical Aptitude: Basic understanding of cloud infrastructure and IT systems. • Troubleshooting Skills: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve technical issues. • Clear Communication: Excellent communication and documentation skills. • Clearance: Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance. Preferred Skills • Experience with cloud monitoring and management tools. • Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell. • Basic understanding of security protocols and best practices.
