THE POSITIONOur roster has an opening with your name on it The Microsoft 365 Senior Engineer is responsible for the design, implementation, management, and support of our Microsoft 365 technologies. This is a hands-on role that requires a deep understanding of Microsoft 365 products and solutions, security protocols, PowerShell scripting, advanced troubleshooting, and administration of the service. The ideal candidate will also play a critical role in leading projects, mentoring support engineers, and ensuring the service's scalability, security, and efficiency. THE GAME PLANEveryone on our team has a part to play Design, implement, and manage Microsoft 365 services like Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, and other related applications. Implement and oversee security and compliance features within the Microsoft 365 ecosystem. Troubleshoot complex issues related to Microsoft 365 services and provide escalation support when necessary. Build, automate, and scale Microsoft 365 groups, distribution lists, and security group creation processes, both manual and automated, ensuring proper workflows are in place. Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for Microsoft 365 configurations, processes, and best practices. Collaborate with stakeholders to integrate Microsoft 365 with existing systems and applications. Keep yourself updated on the latest Microsoft 365 features, updates, and industry best practices. Participate in project planning and execution initiatives related to Microsoft 365. THE STATSWhat we're looking for in our next teammate Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred 5+ years of experience with SaaS Application Engineering and ownership of Enterprise IT applications and tools preferred 3+ years of experience with Microsoft 365 technologies, products, and concepts -Identity Management, Power Apps, OneDrive, and Defender Preferred Proven experience in evaluating, implementing, and utilizing Microsoft 365 E5, especially transitioning from Microsoft 365 E3. Familiarity with Microsoft 365 security and compliance features - Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Information Rights Management (IRM), and Advanced Threat Protection (ATP). Intermediate-level Microsoft 365 Certifications preferred but not required. Experience in building tools and automations using Generative AI solutions, such as Copilot, is a nice-to-have. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detail. Ability to work independently while demonstrating strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills. Must be willing to participate in an on-call rotation and occasional after-hours work for maintenance or emergencies. Must be willing to travel to office sites on a needs basis. The applicable salary range for this position is $114,000 - $147,300, which is dependent on a variety of factors including relevant experience, location, business needs and market demand. This role may also be eligible for short-term or long-term incentive compensation, including, but not limited to, cash bonuses and stock program participation.
