As a Senior Lead Security Engineer at JPMorgan Chase, you are an integral part of an agile team that works to deliver software solutions that satisfy pre-defined functional and user requirements with the added dimension of preventing misuse, circumvention, and malicious behavior. Drive significant business impact through your capabilities and contributions and apply deep technical expertise and problem-solving methodologies to tackle a diverse array of cybersecurity challenges that span multiple technology domains. Job responsibilities • Regularly provides technical guidance and direction to support the business and its technical teams, contractors, and vendors • Develops secure and high-quality production code, and reviews and debugs code written by others • Drives decisions that influence the product design, application functionality, and technical operations and processes • Serves as a function-wide subject matter expert in one or more areas of focus • Actively contributes to the engineering community as an advocate of firmwide frameworks, tools, and practices of the Software Development Life Cycle • Influences peers and project decision-makers to consider the use and application of leading-edge technologies • Adds to the team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills • Proficient in AI/ML techniques and skilled in advanced analytics. • Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in AI/ML, such as Python, R, Java, and C++. • Strong Database skills preferably with Oracle & DynamoDB and experience in tuning database queries, processing large amount of data will be great addition. • Able to design and implement solutions that work against high-volume data sources. • Practical experience of architecting & developing applications on any one of the major public cloud providers (AWS, Azure) Preferred Skills • Java, Kubernetes and AWS certification is a plus. • Good experience on writing unit tests in Java and React JS for a highly complex enterprise environment. • Proven experience with modern frontend framework and libraries such as React is a plus. • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins or GitLab for automating software delivery
