Why join us? • Comprehensive Health benefits + EAP • 401k, Profit Sharing Retirement Plan • Tuition Reimbursement Program • HSA, FSA, Dependent Care Flex Spending Acct • Life, AD&D, & AFLAC Plans • Paid Vacation/Holidays • Paid Sick Leave Job Details As a Hybrid 3/2 onsite in Flower Mound, TX Senior Data Engineer, you will play a critical role in the following areas: • Design, build, and manage our data infrastructure using Azure Databricks, Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform), and other leading technologies. • Develop and optimize LARGE data pipelines, architectures, and data sets using Python, SQL, and Apache. • Utilize Fivetran, Delta Lake, and other tools to ensure the efficient and reliable flow of data throughout our systems. • Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to create and maintain optimal data delivery architecture. • Develop and implement data governance and security measures. • Use Power BI, Tableau, and other data visualization tools to create insightful, user-friendly interfaces for our data. • Develop and maintain JAR (Java Archive) files and related applications. • Continuously evaluate and identify ways to improve our data reliability, efficiency, and quality. • Collaborate with various teams and stakeholders to understand and address their data needs. • Stay abreast of industry trends and innovations and apply this knowledge to your work. Qualifications: • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus. • 5+ years' experience in a Data Engineer or similar role (9 years' experience for non-degreed). Any technical lead experience is a PLUS! • Proven experience with Databricks, Azure, Python, Delta Lake, Fivetran, Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform), Power BI, Tableau, JAR, SQL, Java Archive, Apache, • Extensive experience designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines and architectures. • Strong knowledge of data management principles, including data governance and data security. • Proficiency in data visualization and reporting tools.
