**Overview:** The University of Saint Mary is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused IT Support Specialist to provide technical support for a full range of business and classroom technology to faculty, staff, and students at all campuses. The successful candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, installing and configuring hardware and software, and providing excellent customer service. **Responsibilities:** • Provide technical support for computer systems, desk phones, mobile devices, and audio-visual equipment to faculty, staff, and students • Respond to hardware and software problems, update hardware and software, and troubleshoot issues • Support printers, Wi-Fi, and all peripheral devices on the USM network • Configure and issue laptops, maintain laptop inventory, and provide introductory training at orientation sessions • Install and support audio/visual equipment and special events • Develop expertise in assigned systems and manage technical systems that support your functions • Provide customer service via phone, in person, or remote control • Document all phone calls and work orders in the KACE service desk • Collaborate with other team members to resolve issues • Perform other job-related duties as assigned • *Qualifications:** • Associate's degree from an accredited Information Technology Program or 1-2 years related experience • Familiarity with Microsoft Windows 10, M365, Microsoft Office products, and MS Teams • A+ certification and familiarity with MACs desired • Effective interpersonal and communication skills • Affinity with the overall mission of the University of Saint Mary • Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a professional and confidential manner • Must pass required background screening as appropriate • *Benefits:** • Medical, Dental, Vision insurance • University Paid Basic Life & AD&D insurance • Short and Long-Term Disability insurance • Generous Tuition Remission for the employee, spouse, and dependents under the age of 24 years old • Other benefits as per the University of Saint Mary's policies and procedures
