Company Description MMAD is a full-service architecture and design firm specializing in residential architecture and historic preservation. https://www.instagram.com/mmad_studio/ Role Description This is a part-time hybrid role for an Architectural Intern and/or Draftsperson at Marco Malavarca Architecture + Design. The role would be remote with the occasional in-person meeting at my home office in Lambertville, NJ or on-site at various locations in New Jersey. This is an Independent Contractor position (1099). 8-24 hours a week, paid hourly. Tasks Include: Drafting in AutoCAD Building 3d models Going to sites (primarily around northern/central New Jersey) and measuring existing conditions Updating architectural drawings at the direction of the principal Qualifications: • Currently pursuing or possess a Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field • Must be located in or around New Jersey • 2-3 years of experience working in architectural offices • Communication skills • Must have your own software and good working knowledge of AutoCAD LT, SketchUp, Adobe Suite including Acrobat, Photoshop, Illustrator & InDesign, and Microsoft Office including Word, Excel • Experience working in construction a plus • Experience working in interior design a plus • Experience working in REVIT a plus Please provide cover letter indicating desired hourly wage, resume, and portfolio with samples of construction documents in the form of a single PDF document no larger than 10MB.
