About the Role: Job Title: AI/ML Architect Key Responsibilities: • Serve as a strategic AI/Machine Learning Architect to business and technical teams, understanding cloud implementation goals and translating them into scalable solutions. • Design and implement AI/ Machine Learning architectures and solution roadmaps tailored to enterprise needs, focusing on scalability, security, and performance. • Lead development of functional specifications, application and data architecture, and deployment design. • Collaborate across teams including Information Security, Compliance, and DevOps to ensure robust architectural integrity. • Drive enterprise adoption of MLOps/DataOps best practices and AI/ Machine Learning lifecycle optimization. • Present technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and influence decision-making. Minimum Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field; Master’s degree preferred. • 10+ years of application development experience, with at least 5–6 years in AI/ Machine Learning architecture roles. • 5+ years of experience working with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure); multi-cloud (GCP, AWS, Azure) experience is a plus. • Strong experience in solution architecture, system integration, and enterprise AI implementation. • Working knowledge of TOGAF or similar enterprise architecture frameworks. • Hands-on expertise with Machine Learning algorithms, AI frameworks, and cloud-native AI services (e.g., AWS SageMaker, Azure ML, etc.) • Proficiency in Python, R, or Spark for data science and AI workflows. • Deep understanding of MLOps and DataOps practices and tools. • Familiarity with AI services in speech, vision, NLP, and predictive modeling. • Experience with microservices architecture and cloud data migration projects. Desired Qualifications: • Banking and Financial Industry experience. • Experience with prompt engineering and foundation models (LLMs). • Exposure to MLOps tools and practices. • AWS Certification (e.g., Machine Learning Specialty or Solutions Architect). Location: Reston, VA (Hybrid Role) Salary Range: The salary for this position is between $180,000 – $220,000 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
