Hybrid work arrangement: 3 days onsite, 2 days remote. Client: Department of Elect, VA. The position will act as the Technical Lead for an established development team supporting a large-scale IT project. Responsibilities include providing oversight, guidance, and consultation throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring compliance with project management policies, reviewing deliverables, and coordinating with agency leadership and VITA. The role requires a minimum of three days per week on-site work. Required Experience: 10+ years in IT with extensive expertise in Azure Cloud Services (Azure App Services, Functions, DevOps, Storage, Kubernetes, etc.) Proficiency in programming languages such as C#, .NET, Python, JavaScript Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices, serverless computing Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (ARM templates, Bicep, Terraform) Familiarity with Azure monitoring tools (Azure Monitor, Application Insights) Experience with Azure SQL, Cosmos DB Knowledge of secure coding, RBAC, and compliance standards (GDPR, ISO) Proven leadership in full project lifecycle, Agile/Scrum methodologies, stakeholder communication, mentoring junior developers, and architectural decision-making Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field Scrum certifications (e.g., SAFe) Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert Seniority Level: Mid-Senior level Employment Type: Part-time Industry: Software Development #J-18808-Ljbffr
