Key Responsibilities:. • Data Center Build-Out: Lead the planning and execution of our new data center in Tampa, including Azure migrations and leveraging Azure services. • Daily Operations: Maintain and enhance daily operations, ensuring optimal performance and security. • Service Discovery and Improvement: Conduct a thorough discovery of current services, identify areas for improvement, and implement changes. • Hardware and Capacity Planning: Understand hardware requirements, compare sizes and capacities, and specify necessary equipment for the data center. • Security: Apply security principles to servers and systems, creating a more secure environment. Qualifications: • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a complex systems admin role, demonstrating a mature understanding of systems administration. • Certifications: Preferred certifications in Azure, Microsoft, and other popular technologies. Formal training and senior-level understanding are essential. • Technical Skills: Experience with Azure administration, Microsoft services, Azure storage, and Azure services. Knowledge of Sophos, data center operations, Veeam, and general Microsoft technologies is a plus. • Security Expertise: Strong understanding of security principles and their application to servers and systems.
