Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for a Data Reporting Analyst for an industry-leading organization that delivers trusted reporting solutions in the benefits administration space. POSITION OVERVIEW: The Data Reporting Analyst will play a key role in maintaining accurate, compliant, and actionable reporting for enterprise-level datasets. This position will focus on advanced Excel reporting, Crystal Reports, Access, and SQL, supporting compliance with HIPAA standards while ensuring clear communication with both technical and non-technical audiences. The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, process-driven, and motivated to contribute to continuous improvements in data accuracy and reporting workflows. RESPONSIBILITIES: • Maintain and enhance recurring compliance and operational reports. • Generate ad hoc data extracts with complete documentation and audit trails. • Collecting, cleaning, maintaining datasets and standard and ad hoc reporting • Access and integrate data from multiple benefits systems (contributions, eligibility, claims). • Develop and update standard operating procedures and data dictionaries. • Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and confidentiality of all reporting deliverables. • Collaborate with account executives and end clients to meet reporting needs. • Support reporting improvement initiatives and identify process efficiencies. QUALIFICATIONS: • Advanced proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, charts) is mandatory • Experience with Crystal Reports or comparable reporting tools. • Familiarity with Microsoft Access for reporting and data management. • Basic SQL knowledge for querying and data validation. • Strong commitment to data integrity, accuracy, and HIPAA compliance. • Clear communicator with strong documentation and organizational skills. • Proven accuracy in compliance, friendly datasets such as contributions, eligibility and / or claims. • Benefits administration systems exposure is a plus COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS: This role offers a competitive compensation range of $75-85k/yr alongside a comprehensive benefits program that includes health, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, holidays, and retirement savings with employer contributions.
