As an ideal candidate, you will bring experience from roles such as Distinguished Engineer, Solutions Architect, or Technology Architect, with a proven history in solution implementation and customer relationship management. You will refine your leadership capabilities while engaging in hands-on projects and contributing to architecture discussions. Responsibilities: • Conduct technical engagements with enterprise clients, envisioning business and technical solutions, and delivering architectural designs and rapid prototypes. • Lead architecture and design reviews considering both business and technical requirements. • Analyze and document requirements for data, workflow, logical processes, and system integrations. • Plan, oversee, and successfully deliver customer projects. • Provide expertise to support architecture governance. • Collaborate with business and product partners to identify and prioritize technical and functional system needs. • Travel to customer locations as necessary to implement solutions, foster relationships, and manage key communications. • Uphold company policies across development methodology, architecture, security, compliance, and HR. Basic Qualifications: • Bachelor's Degree • Minimum of 4 years in Software Engineering and Systems Architecture or Technology Solution Design • At least 2 years of experience developing solutions architectures in a public cloud (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud) Preferred Qualifications: • Master's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Technology • 5+ years of experience in software engineering • 3+ years in a Solutions Architect role within large/complex organizations • 6+ years of experience in architecting and delivering scalable systems in a regulated environment • 3+ years managing infrastructure, databases, networking, and CI/CD tools (K8s, Artifactory, Harness, Docker, ECS, etc.) • 2+ years of experience working with business clients • 2+ years of exposure to AWS concepts and implementations • Proven ability to influence and drive initiatives by collaborating with tech executives • 1+ years on data management platforms in areas like Data Discovery, Data Classification, and Data Catalog • 1+ years with Cryptography and Quantum Computing • Experience mentoring software engineers or architects • Background in a regulated environment (HIPAA, PCI, Privacy, etc.) • Strong communication skills across all organizational levels • AWS or equivalent certifications (Cloud Practitioner, Solution Architect-Associate, GCP, or Azure) Capital One is committed to providing equal opportunity to all applicants and ensuring diversity and inclusion within the workplace.
