The Opportunity If you are reading this, we could guess a few things about you: You have a technical proficiency and a breadth of knowledge in various areas and love to serve as the intersection point of technology and people. As our Azure Cloud Engineer, Supply Chain you will ensure the operation and management of Microsoft Azure servers, networks, and services. This will include designing, architecting, configuration, provisioning, migration, security, and monitoring any Azure components. You will report directly to the Director of Global Network and US Infrastructure. On a given day, you might find yourself: • Designing Azure cloud architecture to include client applications, server services, operating systems, storage networks, firewalls, application gateways, virtual networks, expressroutes, Azure files, blog storage, and security. • Project managing Azure migration projects. • Configuring, managing, monitoring an Azure VDI environment. • Ensuring continued reliable business operations of the Azure infrastructure environment. • Inspect, troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing Azure components. • Managing Azure backup solutions including Azure site recovery, storage accounts. Qualifications The Challenge To thrive , you should: • Understand and Monitor Azure network performance and integrity. • Have the ability to assist other Infrastructure or application engineers with Azure tasks. • Serve as secondary level support contact for any Azure support. • Manage Cloud Service Provider (CSP) handling Azure servers. • Assist with breaking down Azure costs for management and payment. • Keep Azure security and compliance at the highest standard. • Knowledge and experience with maintaining control effectiveness for security, compliance controls frameworks and risk management. • Monitor and understand Azure PaaS and SaaS solutions. • Support Disaster Recovery/Incident Response tests and solutions in Azure. • Formal Education & Certification -University degree in the field of computer technology required.
