ABOUT THIS ROLE and GENERAL FUNCTIONS Aloha United Way has an immediate opening for a full-time, permanent IT Support Specialist (Entry to Mid-Level). Reporting to the Vice President of IT, this role is responsible for providing Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support and assisting with daily IT operations. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES · Administer user accounts and assist with onboarding and offboarding employees. · Serve as the first point of contact for IT support requests, responding via ticketing system, phone, and email. · Utilize diagnostic tools, knowledge bases, and online resources for troubleshooting. · Prioritize and resolve issues promptly, escalating complex problems when necessary. · Work alongside the Operations Manager to manage SharePoint permissions. · Document IT procedures and perform follow-ups to ensure complete resolution. · Set up, configure, and maintain workstations, laptops, and IT-supported devices. · Install, upgrade, and troubleshoot software applications. · Provide end-user training on hardware and software usage. · Maintain accurate inventory records of IT equipment and software licenses. · Assist with CRM system administration and troubleshooting. · Coordinate vendor-supported troubleshooting when required. · Support the creation of system documentation, internal knowledge bases, troubleshooting guides, and training materials. · Perform additional duties to support the IT team and overall organizational effectiveness. POSITION REQUIREMENTS Technical Skills Working knowledge or familiarity with the following: · Windows 10 & 11 Professional · Microsoft 365 / Office 365 · SharePoint Online administration and permissions · Azure Active Directory user management · Remote support software · Zoom and GoTo Meeting platforms · Adobe Acrobat · Google Suite administration (currently transitioning away) · CRM platforms such as Salesforce or Dynamics 365 (preferred but not required) Basic understanding of standard IT hardware: · Laptop docking stations and external hubs · Monitors and other desktop peripherals · VOIP phone systems · Network printer setup and troubleshooting Other Requirements · Occasional evening or weekend work for critical upgrades or maintenance. · Ability to lift and transport moderately heavy IT equipment (e.g., computers, peripherals). Education: Minimum of high school education or equivalent. Work Experience · Two or more years of Tier 1 and/or Tier 2 IT support in a business environment preferred. · Experience supporting a multi-department organization. · Ability to prioritize multiple tasks or projects simultaneously. · Experience with IT equipment inventory and license management (preferred). · Certifications such as A+, Network+, or CCNA may substitute for some experience.
